Style Ideas
Use natural fibers (cotton, rayon, linen, silk, etc) – you want your shorts to breath… Polyester won’t be as comfortable for the heat of the summer
Below are some pictures from Pinterest that might inspire you to sew your summer shorts (or a few of them)
Have fun with cotton prints, it will look great for the summer.
White shorts look great for the beach (or you can also experiment with bold colors)
You can never go wrong with lace. Layer your fabric with lace for a feminine look (you can also experiment layering lace over bold colors)
One of my favorites is leather, faux leather, or suede. A pair of shorts in any of these fabrics will look modern and sophisticated!
Or if you want to go fancy, use beaded fabrics or silk (this one is Moroccan style)
