The Asymmetric Wrap Skirt Tutorial shows how to draft your own pattern for this beautiful and modern skirt inspired by a Vanessa Bruno design (collection A/H 2013).
I found this tutorial in the French blog Bee Made. The tutorial is in French, but the pattern design is very easy to understand. You can also translate the page to English if you use your computer (right click on the page and select Translate English)

Below is a drawing showing the pattern pieces and measurements. You can start with a skirt sloper with your own measurements. If you don’t have one, review the post How to Make a Skirt Sloper
You’ll need
1/2 yd main fabric (twill, wool, denim, or any medium weight fabric should work)
1/2 yd leather accent
1/2 yd lining
In the tutorial the closure is with Sew-On Snaps, but I would use Skirt Hook & Eye.
You can make any skirt from your sloper. If you need inspiration, check the Skirt Designs post! I’m sure you are going to find something that works for you.
I love this skirt! I hope you find it useful.
Happy Sewing,
Anabelle
