You can sew a stylish button down shirt for dad with this free sewing pattern. Use classic solids, fun prints, or to add interest, use contrasting colors for the collar and cuffs. You can also add a go-grain ribbon on the buttons placket. No matter your dad’s style, a button down shirt is a piece that your dad needs in his wardrobe.

If your dad wears ties for work, you can sew him a new tie with this free pattern. I’m sure that he would appreciate a handmade tie! Sewing a ties requires attention to details, but it is not hard.
